Duplicate your base and set to screen, you may have to do this more than once depending on your image. You may not have to do it at all.

Create new layer and fill with #ffc9c9 set this layer to soft light 100%

Create new selective color layer with the following settings.

Reds +100/0/+31/0
Yellows +100/0/-100/0
Cyans +100/0/0/0
Blues +100/0/0/0
Neutrals +20/+10/0/0



If you like the way your icon looks now you may stop here. If you want your icon to have more color, please continue.

Create another selective color layer with the following settings:

Reds +50/+50/+25/0
Yellows +60/0/-30/0
Cyans +100/0/0/0
Blues +100/0/0/0
Neutrals +9/0/0/0

Create a new color balance layer with these settings:

Midtones +43/0/+15
Highlights +8/0/-10
Shadows -36/0/-19

Make sure preserve luminosity is checked.

Create a selective color layer (last one) with the following settings:

Yellows -100/0/+48/0
Cyans 0/-100/-100/0
Blues 0/-100/0/0
Neutrals +25/0/0/0
