I am pleased (and surprised!) to have discovered that taking Rt. 95, even during rush hour, saves me at least 20 minutes-1/2 hour of driving to most of my southern MA facilities.  Hence, I'm doing a whole lot less driving on Rt. 495.  This is something of a surprise--I'd expected the commute would be much longer with the slower traffic, but ( Read more... )

I took my custom dance sneakers back to Hersey yesterday to address the fact that the orthotics don't sit in them properly.  Well, no wonder.  Steve (the owner) said that it's quite clear he somehow made them a half-size too long.  He re-measured my feet and said that he should be able to turn out a new pair for me in 3-4 weeks.  I'm going to go in ( Read more... )
