In other news, no furniture shopping has occurred yet. I wasn't in the mood yesterday, and today, it's raining cats and dogs, so I don't really want to spend the whole evening sitting on furniture in wet clothes. I have gone so far as to determine my furniture needs, however: it must have an easy-to-vacuum surface for all of the hair the cats will attempt to leave on it, and it must be a sleeper sofa for when I have company. This might well rule out anything from Ikea.
