Things I can look forward to!

A great part of stringgeek's stress management program involves planning ahead.

Other than the massage and facial, the rest of next weekend will be whatever sounds interesting.  :-)  Activity-free weekends save my sanity, yay!

I'm going to be swamped on weekends in March, and there's nothing to be done about that now.  I have a dance workshop in VT (Joel & Evita), two SCA events (Hrim Schola & Twa Corbies) and then a dance workshop in Boston (Boston Tea Party).  Yoikes!  I'll enjoy all of them, but I know that by the end, I'll feel all rush-rush-rush.

But--April is coming!

I'll be cruising from April 2-6 (Tampa-Cozumel).  Flights and cruise are officially booked!  Hooray!  Best of all, since I didn't use any sick time last year, I have two free days of vacation this year...so this vacation will only use one day out of my paltry 2 week vacation stash.

And then, wonder of all wonders, I'll have THREE activity-free weekends in a row, including my birthday weekend!  (Yes, I did decide to skip that workshop.)  Well, technically, I'm sure I'll wind up doing *some* different things here and there over those weekends, but I'll be HOME, with no weekend-long activities planned.  ~blissful sigh of anticipation~  Maybe I'll finally have the energy to tool into Boston on one of those weekends and see some sights.

It also looks as if my April OH trip is going to wind up being the same week as my niece Madelyn's spring vacation, so I'll almost certainly be able to spend time with the nieces & nephew doing Fun Daytime Activities.  :-)  So, that gives me things to look forward to on that trip, too.

home sweet home, travel, activity-free weekend!
