Band Nerds Unite
Bandom makes me miss band.
I was in band fifth through tenth grade as a (fairly awful) clarinet before dropping out and deciding I was done forever; I really mostly joined band to get out of gym class - Ninnekah had everyone take music (during which I learned clarinet) and then you did band or gym (during which I learned piano). But right now I'm all nostalgic! I met my first real boyfriend in marching band and we got to have the kind of cliched high school romance you see in music videos. It was actually pretty good times.
But! Bringing it back to bandom: As a result of my band nerd past, I find drumlines smoking hot. Also trumpet players, but again, first boyfriend + nostalgia.
I want to see high school fic where Brendon and Spencer are in drumline together.
Other things I want to see in fic: MCR and U2 team up to save the world, either in a real-life social change way or a fighting supervillains way, don't care, it'd be awesome/hilarious. Five times Patrick was embarrassed in front of Prince. Brendon Urie, one man band, SERIOUSLY GUYS, he puts out awesome kids' records and credits aliases because people get weird when they realize he did all of it by himself and then he gets approached by Ryan Ross of Summer League for something and is found out and SHENANIGANS ENSUE. Brendon strips in high school to support himself (briefly mentioned in a seriously awesome Brendon/Patrick fic but it TOTALLY deserves to be its own epic, yes?). The time Patrick turned into the World's Angriest Kitten. Gerard runs a domestic abuse center.
Awesome things I've seen in fic lately: Brendon and Patrick on dueling pianos. Brendon, Patrick, and Gerard create a hit children's show. Accidental sexbot delivery (multiple times!). Lyn-Z getting Gerard pregnant. Lyn-Z pegging Gerard. Bob Bryar not fucking around with ninja training. Sex pollen (win for always). FBR surviving th apocalypse because they were in Gabe's basement. Kittens! At the Disco (three times!). Mob AUs. Pete/Dean Winchester.
