*dies of cute* That's just adorable~! Adorable and well-written, besides. I like your take on Rinko, and Ryoma's even got a good balance of snark and sweet. Thank you for writing! ♥
... This is getting more and more regular, and so cute, and I can so imagine Nanjiroh going, "Che, another annoying mouth around" and his subsequent horror when Karupin proves to be house-trained to bite. ^^
D'awwww~ That's utterly adorable. ♥! You write so well, it's smooth and with nice imagery but never seems pretentious. Everyone seems perfectly IC, like it was a scene missing from the anime ♥
Oh. Oh. I'm all verklempt. *sniffle* It just really hit me, how Karupin really must be the only thing/person Ryouma has to care about before Seigaku and Tezuka. No wonder he's so distraught when Karupin follows him to school and he doesn't know if he's safe. And I think I may as well mention here that I love one of the lines in one of your 7snogs ficlets--"Everything", I think--where Ryouma feels disloyal to Karupin for not being satisfied with cuddling up to him and wanting Tezuka instead as well. I repeat: Tezuka/Ryouma/Karupin OT3!
Also, love the neighbours' bewilderment over the Japanese epithets and the cleaning lady resigning after seeing the magazines. :D
I knoooow. Oh Ryoma. If he had a friend in the world before Seigaku I would be very surprised. And his mother works, and his father's Nanjiroh, and wah. Now I want to write Rinko's reaction to Ryoma's relationship with Tezuka.
Tezuka/Ryouma/Karupin OT3!
Like this? Um, I forget where the hell I found that, and the named site either doesn't exist or is very broken, so.
Eeee! That is adorable! I was actually picturing them all snuggled up in bed, with Ryouma and Karupin both asleep and being petted by Indulgent!Tezuka, but this is so cute! I love how relaxed Tezuka looks.
If he had a friend in the world before Seigaku I would be very surprised. I think it's pretty clear that he didn't. He doesn't seem particularly annoyed about suddenly picking up and moving to Japan, and the way he reacts to the fangirling shows that he never got much of that either; he's sort of bewildered to start out with, and then quickly learns to ignore it.
Now I want to write Rinko's reaction to Ryoma's relationship with Tezuka. Does Rinko really pay much attention to Ryouma's tennis life? I mean, she never shows up at his tournaments, she never seems to ask him anything about it. Even Nanako shows more interest. But I'd love to see her reaction, not just to a romantic relationship, but to him suddenly caring about other people, like his tennis team
