Yesterday I had a total of five hours to myself. All of which, might I add, I was unconscious for. Glorious morning sleep, is what that was.
So the District meeting was
lovely like these two ladies. Unfortunately, a grand total of 7 people came from my SGA & that was including our sponsor. Well, I got abducted from our group seminars as part of the whole "Take me to your leader" theme for our district. Myself and a small group of others (10?) had to make up a skit in an hour to present to the rest of the SGA congregation. I got to be E for ENTHUSIASM. Who would've thought?
So it was in Navarre and didn't end until 2, so I missed Stage Fright auditions. Gilly came home with me where we watched Sweet 16 with the foster brat and assembled Sarah's gifts.
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY SARAH!
'Twas the 17th birthday of a very sweet gal. We went to Global Grill, waited for 55 minutes, and then finally got seated. At the very least, I got the greatest Tempura fried sushi as well as the port wine cheesecake.
Damn.
Then Shawn came and picked me up and we had a fantastic time at Homecoming. I love all those Wildcats. Everyone is so sweet and its so amazing to talk to people you haven't seen in a long time and still feel that bond. So many times I was faced with "Hi, I'm _______, but I already know your name." Shawn must do a lot of talking about me. I'm flattered.
After the dance, we drove through Steak&Shake and got a dark chocolate milkshake and a large cheese fry to share.
Loved it.
I wish I had more days like these.
