Basically, here's what's happened and what's going on for me.
Today(Thursday): Went to work as a doorman at the building my dad works at. On two hours of sleep. But I didn't fall asleep once. As I had a tendency to conk out on eight, yay for me. Tonight, a night of packing and preparation await. Because...
Friday: We're going to be heading out to Alabama quite early in the morning. Like, two AM early. We'll head over to my grandmother's house, pick her up, and hit the open road. We will be off on that trip the whole weekend.
Monday: We leave very early in the morning. Again. We expect to be back sometime before 3:30. Because at 3:30, training for Convergys starts. (Guess it's high time I gave into caffeine addiction again, huh?) At least, for now, I don't actively have to worry about taking the bus up to Convergys. On my other blog site, I complained about the
horrid service Metrobus provides. Here, we have a fifteen minute drive, a straight shot down Lindbergh, fucked up as to last at least an hour and a half. I take the 47(so called "Cross County") from Jamestown Mall south to Lindbergh and Washington. When I get there, the bus I need to take, the 45, clockwise(I think), is just leaving. So I had to wait another hour for a bus to come. That's going to be heinous for the rest of August, I'm sure. So I've come to bumming rides from family and friends, as often as I can. Oh, well.
From here on out, my hours are 3:30 PM until 1 AM, central time, M-F. Until 8/25, when actual schedules are doled out.
