So home has been nice. It's a bit boring but overall it has been nice. Here's an update on things.
My parents are hosting an exchange student for an entire year! Her name is Rafi (pronounced "ha-fee") and she is from Brazil. She's very nice and her English is pretty damn good. I'm impressed. She'll be going to Gainesville High School, as long as all the paperwork gets sorted out.
Yesterday was my dad's birthday. He enjoyed it. I got him the second season of Curb Your Enthusiasm on DVD. He's a huge fan and has season 1 so I figured he would love season 2, and he did. We went out to dinner and had a good time.
My new 20GB 4th Generation iPod arrived today. It's snazzy. It's going to take some time to get used to the new wheel design though. It's got a grip to it, unlike the wheel on the 3rd Gen.
The Powerbook arrives tomorrow. I'm excited.
Today I got a haircut. No longer am I shaggy. It's short and spikeable again. I'm very happy with it. The conversation with the barber was good too.
However, mostly I have been hanging around the house doing noting. It's enjoyable, but I wish there was a bit more than nothing to do. The Food Network is quite entertaining though.
Should be going to see Alien vs Predator on Friday night with the G-ville peeps.
I head back up to school on Saturday, as long as the weather is nice enough and I don't risk being killed by a Hurricane. I'm anxious to return to school, so I'll have something to do. Tom says the apartment is boring as fuck with just him there.
Goal of the Semester: Try and cook a real meal every weekend at school. Also, to cook better food than Dormer.
