[The feed is on and Kira's pleased to see it operating. Well, it wouldn't hurt to introduce yourself, right?]
Hey, there. My name is Kira Yamato. I guess you could say I'm still new to this whole thing.
To tell you the truth, I'm still a little surprised. I never thought I'd see a world quite like this one.
The existence of pokemon just goes to show how little we know. They can do things we can't and we can't even say for certain how many of them actually exist. Sure, you can collect data all day, but I seriously doubt that will be enough.
I think we need to understand what they're thinking. Creating bonds with them will take work, but we need to strive to accomplish that goal. If we manage to achieve that goal, I think the world will be a much happier place, for both Pokemon and Humans alike. I don't think becoming a trainer was a mistake. I'll see this journey to the end. What sort of things will I learn? Who will I meet? Those are all questions I'll find out soon.
