this friday the 13th has been pretty uneventful; I have only minutes for things to get bad. I think my scariest friday the 13th experience ever was my dad driving... wait, no, SPEEDING us up a mountain with hairpin turns during a thunderstorm. and then going in an elevator inside the mountain. it was in lake placid; at least it was pretty. but yeah, nothing seems to actually ever go wrong for me on friday the 13th. knock on wood. oh, it was scary tonight when I came home and my front door was wide open and I saw my cat dart across the snow and into my house as nicole and I pulled up. I was really afraid someone broke into my house, but I walked in and my grammy was sitting on the couch, unaware the door was wide open. good thing I arrived when I did or my poor cat would have been lost in the snow. : ( but anyway, I guess the door wasn't shut all the way and swung open in the wind. aaaaand that concludes my near-scary friday the 13th experience.
ever have a song in your head during the day and not feel relieved until you actually hear the song later on? I just had one of those moments. maybe I'm just cuhrazy.
I received some really interesting valentine's day gifts from a few lovely ladies (a.k.a. sara, sarah, and dana... and jessica? I'm not sure; she wasn't there when I opened them). they were quite amusing, but I'm sure will be of no use to me... at least not this year, haha. except for the chocolate. um, and the "how to meet your man and marry him in 30 days" book will never be of use to me. I promise. anyway, thank you for the gifts; they were hilarious.
I walked downstairs in my dance team uniform before my game tonight and my mom said something about liking my uniform and my grammy said "ooh, you look sexy!" it was possibly the funniest thing I heard all day.
tomorrow's valentine's day... have a good one, everyone. kerri and I will be running away to spain to become nuns.
