we're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year

this week seemed really relaxing... haha oh wait, probably because I only had two days at school. tuesday night we lost power and I had a lot of homework to do and not so much light to do it in... so instead of going to school with nothing done, my mom let me take a little mental health day... which consisted of homework. enh, what can ya do. at least I got to sleep in. and even better, I didn't have any work to make up... I don't know how that worked out, but it did!

tonight I didn't have much going on and I got around to practicing dance, which is good cause I've had no motivation lately... I was kind of sad/mad at myself the past week or so because dance used to make me really happy and I practiced an hour everyday, if not more, and I dropped that habit in the last year and a half because it wasn't really that fun anymore... okay so I REALLY doubt you care, but the point is I somehow pulled it together this week and got myself re-motivated (definitely not a word) and I'm feeling better about it all... enh so that's good news for myself, sorry you had to read it... if you did.

I think I saw something close to the cutest thing ever today. I'm not sure why it made me and shaina sooo ridiculously excited, but it did. we were walking around this morning and we see this freshman guy who took the time/effort/thought to make a shirt asking my friend "will you be my girlfriend?" I'm pretty sure I squealed some kind of obnoxious sound that can only come from a 6th grade girl... but it came from me. hmmm MAYBE I should stop living vicariously through other people...

I'm looking forward to this weekend but I don't even have any definite plans, other than that I have a dance competition and we're somehow celebrating chelsie's birthday. hopefully something cool and spontaneous will come up. you know, like, "hey, let's go to someone's house and watch a movie!" oh well, I can blame myself for not being creative. sooo that's all for now... later alligators
