You're in the ARMYnow!

Today we went and did a tour called the "HOME OF THE BRAVE." We got up at 0500 hrs, and reported to the bus at 0600 hrs. We visited the memorial of the USS ARIZONA, Pearl Harbor, Punchbowl Cemetary, several military bases, and the Pacific Headquaters of the US Armed Forces.

This whole trip, and especially this experience has only made me want to join the armed forces so much more. Yeah, I am scared of dying in war, being shot or what not, but I have no direction in life, no structure, nothing like that, and I think this is the best way to attain all of that.

I was doing some research earlier today, and was looking to see what branch of the military would be best for me. I am terrified to join the army, because without a doubt, Iraq would be in my future. I've also looked into the Coast Guard, the and the Navy. The airforce is out of the question because I have crap for vision. For the airforce, you need 20/20.

I was looking at requirements for all of these, and well, I have a lot of work to do physically. So, when we return back to Maine, I am joining a gym. I had that intent before we left, but no it is so much more defined. I need to get myself in shape for boot camp, regardless the branch.

Pictures coming later...

But I think this would be a great thing for me, if I could only decide whether it be the army, navy, or coast guard.

I know that if I went to talk to a recruiter now, that it'd be non-stop phone calls. They are relentless.

I am going to go chill, and gaze into the ocean, and think about my future. How about you?
