At least that's what the ads say. This Fourth of July, like so many before it, I will be working. Why? Because Kroger's is gay and never closes, ever. At least I get time and a half for it. Wow, that makes, what, a whole $9.15 an hour? I'm tingling with excitement. At least I get to finally start working in the dairy section like I was originally told. Pay is the same, but I work in a cooler instead of the back of a truck. Oh, and Friday i was off and bought some shorts for work. The shorts basically matched the requirements needed in order for them to be acceptable. However, this dumb bitch in management was like "No, sorry only baggers can wear shorts because they work outside sometimes in the heat". I said, "Ok". I wanted to say, "Bitch! Have you ever been in the back dock? No AC, no fans, so it as at least as hot as outside. Plus, I do a lot of work in the back of a semi and when it's 90 outside, its easily 95-100 in the truck." But then again, my job is to stock shelves, hers is to be a fucking moron, stupid and ugly, wear braces and help old people with their complaints. Big deal. The bitch has no life. I am angry.
The bigg's near my house is now hiring so I put in an app.
