I got the call back for an interview!
There is a small set back. I have to take a few tests to make sure I'm not a moron. And I'll probably fail them all, despite how simple they are. Filing, dewy decimal, and spelling. Sounds easy, but I'll fail. I always fail every test. I am NOT a test taker. D=
I have to know where things are in the library.
000 is General (Encyclopedias and other reference stuff)
100 is Psychology
200 is Religion
300 is Social Sciences (with culture mixed in)
400 is Language
500 is Natural Science/Math (remember as geeky)
600 is Technology (remember as DIY)
700 is Arts
800 is Literature (remembered as college)
900 is Geography/History
The 920s have a separate section. They are the (auto)biographies.
E - Child
J - Juvenile
T - Teen
All have their own sections. Fiction is just fiction. The dewy decimal system is used for non fiction. System was created by Melville Dewy.
Do I sound ready for this? Because I don't feel like I'm ready for this.
Now for the good part.
Funny stuff below
So I just found this article through my twitter friends. Thank you for the laugh.
