we'll never be the same
...and you know what, even if you won't be the same--if you manage to pull out of it, like I'm trying to do now with alcohol, drugs, and sex--you'll be even better--i think, than you were before because of the experience. I mean--in any case, growing up is all about changing--so you couldn't really expect to be the same as you were even if you had never touched drugs years ago.
