The following are thoughts that have been stewing in my head for quite a long time...
"Faith should be utilized as a personal aura and pillar of strength. The lives of those you touch should be an extension of the Divine's reach. It should never be used as a sword or cudgel-used to drive the dogma into their perceived "enemies" and to offensively diminish one's self-worth. It should never be used as a shield-used to defend the horrific actions one says and does to others in the supposed name of said faith."

If you're going to be a mean person, do so because you are mean and lack the facilities for positive thoughts. Attempting to hide your sour attitude behind your faith is an insult to my intelligence and only succeeds in upsetting me. That makes me feel like you're trying to confront me from behind some sort of proverbial impenetrable shield excusing you from all your actions. In the worst case, it makes me want to walk up and rip away your Spartan shield just so I can look into those eyes of irrationality...
