NUCKOLLS, Zane Zane Grey Nuckolls, 81, of Hanahan, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004. Mr. Nuckolls was born April 23, 1922, in Furches, N.C., to the late Wilbur Edison Nuckolls and Maggie Hill. Mr. Nuckolls was the owner-operator of Charleston Heights Upholstery. He served with the 100th Infantry Division of the US Army, a veteran of World War II, owner of the Arcadia Port Park and curator of the Nuckolls World War II Museum in Hanahan, S.C. Mr. Nuckolls served faithfully as an usher and member at Northwoods Assembly for over 20 years. Mr. Nuckolls is survived by his wife, Muriel Huffman Nuckolls of Hanahan; three daughters, Cheryl Baker and husband Ed of Goose Creek, Pamela Richards and husband Steve of Mt. Pleasant, Yvonne Davison and husband Paul of Hanahan; two sons, Stuart Nuckolls and wife Shirley of Hanahan, Michael Nuckolls and wife Tonya of Fairhope, Ala.; a sister, Phyllis McMahan of Greensboro, N.C.; three step-sisters, Patricia Nuckolls, Sandra Church and Geraldine Coffey, all of NC; 12 grandchildren, Daniel Nuckolls, Jeremy Nuckolls, Charity Carnes, Christopher Nuckolls, Justin Baker, Brian Baker, Stephanie Richards, Candace Richards, Sara Richards, Natalie Davison, Josh Davison and Austin Davison. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Northwoods Assembly, 8717 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston. CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston is serving the Nuckolls family.
