I am consistantly amazed at the lack of common sense that people use when dealing with their daily lives. A savings account is supposed to be a very private sucrue thing. So why do people get mad when you tell them they can't have access to their account without a PIN number? They use PIN numbers for everything else in their lives. I mean really. Big companies use badge ID numbers instead of names to keep track of their employees. Everything these days can be done by pushing buttons on a computer or a phone. Why would you want anyone to have access to your information? That's the purpose of the PIN. To keep unknown elements out of your stuff. So why are they surprised when they don't use this PIN that even they cannot gain access. We do not yet have the technology to transfer fingerprints over the phone so we have no way of knowing they are who they say they are. "Well this is George" That's nice, I've never talked to George before I don't know if you are him or the guy that stole his wallet at the mall last night. GRRRRR. People are perfectly pleased that these security measures are in place until it is not convenient to them because they left their PIN at home. Well tough.
