Random thoughts and notes...
Moving Wednesday, new carpet will probably not be installed by that point. Sigh. Not really a huge problem as I've sold, given away, or will be giving away most of my big furniture, but it's annoying nonetheless.
House projects are moving very slowly. My debela-esque list (hereafter referred to as "The Debela List") isn't being dented much. It's amazing how long some of this work takes, especially when one has little or no experience doing it. But at least the main room and hallway are painted. It's amazing what a difference a coat of paint makes. Oh, yes, and the range is installed and looks *sweet*.
I'm now to the stage of moving stuff over to the new place via my car. I am still amazed even to this day how much crap it can hold.
In my infinite wisdom, I had the phone company disconnect my landline on Friday...but told them to keep my DSL line active till Monday so that I could remain connected. Yeeeeaaah. I realized yesterday that the DSL line is intertwined with the landline. *headdesk*
