Hours spent on bike this week: TOO MANY TO COUNT!
I went to the river yesterday for a swim. It was pretty cold, but it felt SO good after such a long ride. I went intending to simply take off my shirt and pants and swim in my undies, but there were people around, so I sat down for a few minutes, then said, "What the fuck?" and took off my clothes and went for a swim anyway.
The only problem was the ride back. I was utterly exhausted from swimming, so riding my bike up the big hills from the river bottoms was fucking tough. Next time, I'll rest longer after swimming before I start on my bike. I guess another small problem was the sand on my legs, but after I dried, it was easy to just take off my pants and dust myself off. Ah, it was fun.
Oh yeah, on my ride down to the river, I passed the Indian Mound, and it's honestly a lot less impressive now that I've gotten older. But around the area is a bunch of industry and shit, and I passed this DIRTY pond. It was solid green on top and looked like someone had poured in green concrete. It didn't smell, but it was kinda creepy. I also passed a bunch of worker types. You know, with the shirt with a nametag, dirtied with greese and etc. and they all looked at me with a confused expression, like "What the fuck are you doing here?" I nodded to each of them, said hello to a few of them, and went on my way. I later found out I was in a "No Trespassing" zone. Haha.
