Fine. Confidentially, then.

Name: Chloe Sullivan
Age at time of death: The first time, 20. The second and third, 21.
Current age: 21
Cause of death: The first time, indirectly, a stab wound to the torso. The second time, indirectly, a bullet to the head. The third time, absorption of a manifestation of Death itself.
Cause of resuscitation: Meteor rock infection.
Are you or have you ever been bitten by a vampire?: Yes, I was bitten once, but everyone involved was cured.

Meteor rock? I will admit, this information is relevant only to my personal curiosity.

Any residual effects after the vampire incident? How long ago was it?

Yes, well, your personal curiosity is not, technically speaking, my problem.[deleted]

To sum up a very long story, the town where I grew up is seeded with fragments from a meteor shower. The meteor rocks have caused a lot of the residents to develop unusual abilities. Mine lets me heal people by taking the effects of their injuries. Once I've got them, I can heal them much faster/better than the person could. It also works to bring back people who are dying or have just died, but that, obviously, means I die. Temporarily.

Please remember all this is confidential.

Three years ago. I'd actually almost forgotten about it until you asked. And no, no residual effects I ever heard about in me or any of the affected girls. The ones who were fully changed didn't remember much of the experience after being cured.

If you're that curious, I wrote a whole article about it at the time. My research is still in hard copy in Kansas, but I could find the article for you easily.

This will be kept the utmost confidentiality, I assure you.

Would you like to meet me in my office sometime? My butler makes fantastic tea.

Sure. Couldn't hurt to get to know our new Minister of Defense (Particularly Against the Undead). Your butler is Ianto Jones, right? From the coffee shop?

Just so we're clear from the get-go, I'm not going to consent to any testing or experimentation. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt.

Please, Miss Sullivan, I am hardly a woman of science; that doesn't interest me in the least.

Good. I'll assume you're not lying, which is pretty generous of me, all things considered.[deleted]

Do I need to make an appointment, then?

Thank you, that's very kind of you.

Appointment won't be necessary. You can come over at any time.
