Somehow, Emily's death didn't irritate me. I liked her, and she was basically killed to screw up that other division guy, but it didn't offend me. I think it's because what really pushed Nikita away from Division was the murder of her fiance. So it didn't feel like stuffing a woman in the fridge for the sake of some guy's emo, but killing her so Nikita could see history repeated and see pieces of herself in this guy.

(I should note that killing of one character for another character's emotional pain doesn't always bother me. It's more that it tends to be women killed to affect male characters, which I think is largely due to male characters/perspectives being considered the norm. Whether something bothers me can be pretty random anyways - I'm completely fine with all the manpain on Angel.)

Also, new guy has a fantastic torso. Just saying.
