i've been on both the sending and receiving side of jewelry that's been lost in the mail. i returned the money when it was my fault; so far i have yet to receive a refund from the person who currently owes me a lost pair of KAOS (and i'm pissed. i thought everyone knew you can't send half inch eyelets in a regular envelope internationally...esp when envelope thickness can't be more than 1/4", duhh)

haha that's traumatic for a first experience!

my dumb moment came in trying to send Tess (trippahone/messoftess) 2ga acrylic flesh tunnels in a regular envelope. i was still really new to postage/shipping stuff that others have purchased and i didn't know the rules on thickness and such. Tess received a torn, empty envelope. gosh, she was SO cool about it though, and i think she forgave me, since we've been amiable since :D
i'll NEVER make that mistake again. bubblies all the wayyyy
