Zombie Attack!!!

I drew a zombie.
Go figure.

Funny thing is that I started this drawing on the ferry. I think the woman sitting next to me thought I was a bit sick.
Hahahahahaha!

Things are going alright.
To update what happened regarding the credit card fraud: basically some dude in Brazil got a hold of my number (still not sure how) and made about $800 worth of purchases. I noticed small charges early on, but didn't think anything of it - I just reported them as unauthorized transactions. I should've done something earlier though because I guess the Brazilian guy got wise and went ahead and made bigger purchases about a week after the smaller purchases.

Let this be a lesson to all: moniter your credit card activity often and cancel the card IMMEDIATELY after reporting ANY unauthorized transactions, no matter how small. There's a good Dateline NBC episode about credit card/identity theft rings on YouTube. Check it out if you're curious.

Luckily for me, all the fraudulent charges were made in Brazil, so they were easily fixed. Still, just trying to resolve the situation was a big hassle... I had to put on a "fraud alert" notice to my credit rating too, just in case the thief/thieves apply for more credit cards under my name.

Other than the credit card fraud, not much has been happening. June has been a rather slow month for concerts. I've only seen CSS, The Rosebuds, Love & Mathematics, Land of Talk, Yacht and Architecture in Helsinki so far. (Of those, I was really impressed by CSS, Love & Mathematics and Land of Talk.)

I was hoping to see The National later this week, but the damn thing is sold out, and fucking scalpers on Craigslist are asking for double the face value which is fucking unfair.
Boo to scalpers!

Other things that happened this month:
I graduated.
Crazy.

After thousands upon thousands of dollars, and years of hard work, I'm finally done.

I'm still working the same job in Vancouver, but I'm hoping to find something else by September. It's been difficult, to say the least. Companies rarely advertise entry-level positions, and the competition for them are insane.
I've only gotten one interview and I failed it :S (Doesn't help the ego either)

I recently applied for a marketing assistant job and I'm hoping to hear from that. I'm starting to think that maybe I should get into marketing as it may provide that creative avenue I'm looking for.

Wish me luck!

I guess that's it from me. There are more stuff I could write about, but I always feel that people get bored by these long lengthy posts.

Is it just me, or is LiveJournal dying?
