Cramp Attack #5
Survived another harrowing case of cramps yesterday. A lovely combination of getting my period, needing to do a #2 real bad, and going 12 hours without eating anything (not on purpose, which I'm not sure makes it less stupid). Big thanks to my parents for taking care of me and Diego's for the lugaw. Also grateful I had a bed this time where I could shamelessly writhe in pain, Sybil Crawley-style. Yes, this is not the first time it's happened. And no, mom, I'm not doing it to be theatrical.
Anyway, all's well that ends in a buffet. I still made it to the send-off dinner that night for my uncle, aunt, and cousins, and had a great time fake-cooking my bacon-wrapped crabsticks. Plus, I got the birthday money my grandmother and my other uncle sent over, so yeah. Good ol' TLC, free food, and surprise cash? Not a bad way to spend your Saturday.
