for the first time i went to a karaoke bar on saturday. 7 of us went to energy in alhambra. a co-worker knows one of the owners of the place, so we got some discounts. even without discounts, the happy hour is a good deal. the place was packed. i didn't notice 5 and a half hours have gone by, guess time flies when you are having fun. one of the person couldn't read chinese, so he actually printed out 菊花台 lyrics in pinyin. we felt bad that he couldn't read chinese, thus missing out alot. he got 菊花台 out of watching 满城尽带黄金甲 =) this proves that listening a language is easier than reading.
