microwave is handy
i went to see my friend in rowland heights today, 50 miles took me about an hour, luckily no major congestion. i don't know if this is true, but normally no traffic on 405 means driving about 40 miles per hour without stopping.
i got a haircut, paid 40 bucks for it. my mom insisted to the stylist that the haircut should look 清纯 (close translation would be innocent). the stylist replied that how much younger you want her to look, any younger the guys would think she is under age. I laughed. maybe that's the problem.
nearby the barber shop was a topioca tea place. i ordered a hot taro milk tea. the girl mixed up something and put a cup in the microwave. i don't know how to react to that. so i paid 2 bucks for a microwaved milk tea, that's so wonderful.
