"is it because I have been out of the loop with chinese culture for too long that I don't appreciate them anymore or they are just truely bad?"

It has nothing to do with being Chinese. Pop culture is generally bad regardless. Have you seen American reality TV? Or their lame-ass sitcoms?

"all the guys and girls look alike. scary isn't it?"

That's because all Chinese people are clones. Duh. You're one too.

"I am scared that I am slowly being molded into the image that this is how a good looking chinese should be.

You're being "molded"? By who? Is your mom telling you what to wear? Or is the TV telling you? How does it do that? Is it like peer pressure?

"I have so many better things to be paranoid about"

"Like whether or not psychox will try to molest me in my sleep," Ling added nervously, eyes darting around for any sign of her perverted ex-roommate. What if psychox caught her reading online adult-rated romance stories again? Well, fortunately psychox couldn't read Chinese without a dictionary.

(And actually, I'm at work when you're sleeping, so you're safe. You can read your dirty hetero stories and touch yourself all night long without any interference from me.)

(And worrying about earthquakes isn't paranoia. Wearing a tinfoil hat to prevent the neighbors' cat from reading your mind is.)

"I have been missing some vibrating action in the past few years."

Did you leave your vibrator in Michigan? Want me to get you a new one? It'll be like a mini-earthquake.

IN YOUR PANTS.

"the danger of become a frozen popsicle"

Uh, "frozen popsicle" is redundant. Because all popsicles are frozen. If you ever met an unfrozen popsicle, it wouldn't really be a popsicle. Like how a psychox without the chox wouldn't really be a psychox.

Man, your livejournal would be so boring if it weren't for me.

"not all reality tv are bad."

Name one good one. Besides those segments of Fear Factor where non-Asians squeal and throw up trying to eat food you can normally find in the refrigerated section of 99 Ranch Market. Or are you saying you watch them to make fun of people. I used to do that, but even that got boring.

"i dont use a vibrator, i am sure you need it more than me"

Are you trying to say I can't get a date? Oh, the irony of that statement coming from YOU. Or are you saying I'm way more perverted than you. Cuz that's obvious.

I think Cops was the original reality TV show. My friends like Cheaters. It's okay, though one time the host got STABBED by a guy while on camera. They showed the whole thing, taking him to the ER and putting the guy who stabbed him in handcuffs and calling the cops. Then for a few weeks they had a guest host while he was recoering. Best reality TV episode ever.

"you work when other people are sleeping"

So that's MY excuse for being dateless. Now, what's YOURS? Besides that you're waiting for me to ask you out.

I'm broke. Spent my paycheck on furniture and CDs and porno. Yeah. How much would you pay for an antique Oriental-style chest, anyway?

Well, I'd have to "pay" for one if I want it, don't I? What am I gonna do, steal it? Or make one myself? I have no carpentry skills, and they don't make pockets that big.

You obviously missed the post where I said I'm lacking furniture. My TV sits on the cardboard box it came in, and my fish tanks are on the floor. All my stuff is still packaged in the boxes I used to move in three years ago, and when I look for something, I have to tear through the boxes and throw everything on the floor, which is where it all is right now because I haven't found what I was looking for. At some point I got tired of stepping on stuff and cracking CD and DVD cases. So yeah, furniture. Got some cheap shit from the infamous Ikea, some shit from Target. But now I'm thinking of spending a little more on something really nice and possibly archaic just for display value. (Trouble is I want to save for a new videogame console that's coming out next month, and I'll need money to put down if I want to pre-order.)

But if you don't see the value in that, then don't worry your pretty little head over it. I'll decide on my own.
