Breathe in, breathe out.

Chest rises and falls, calms your mind and takes you one step further away from the thoughts running rampant through your mind.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Focus your mind, stretch your fingers and reach out to the call of Mother Nature. Power dances over your fingertips, draw the lightning down and wield it. Curl it around your hand; turn it into the weapon of your choice.

Breathe in, breathe out.

White eyes, calm mind, and search for the center, find your way. The world’s beginning to churn, focus your mind and stretch, and keep stretching. You can do this, you have the power and it’s just a matter of channelling it right. You know how to do this.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Sudden sharp explosion erupts across danger room floor, knife wielding mechanics destroyed by the directed path of lightning and the sudden onslaught of water and ice. Joints are freezing together; one knock and they’re brittle and broken.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Balance yourself, find the invisible strings and hold yourself where you are. Trust in yourself and trust in the elements to keep you where you need to be. Your emotions are your own, no-one else’s, control them and wield them.

Breathe in, breathe out.

A beep breaks through the pattern you’ve knocked out for yourself and it brings you back down from the height you’ve achieved. Your time is up, session over, gruelling three hours of training more than enough to set you on the right path for the day.

Breathe in, breathe out.

You need a shower and a long massage, the first can happen, the second is a figment so better settle for what you can get.
