In the Works
Lots and lots of things in the works at the moment. Started a contract position with a CPA who's organizational skills make me look like a pro (I'm not joking!). He's promised me at least 12 hours a week - a very important number as... the added income will perhaps make it possible for me to move OUT OF MY MOTHER'S HOUSE!! YEEESSS!!!! (Don't get me wrong, I love my mom... but still!) This is clicking and turning along and reliant on finances working out - and on getting daycare paid for by someone other than me (states typically have programs for us working poor people - you know.... ) Also, there's the additional (hopeful) financial increase from child support in the future as we have a rescheduled court date of Dec 17th - also meaning I'll have to deal with Birdy's father, but still. So... Perhaps, just perhaps, by the middle of December or the beginning of January I might have my own place, in OP, nearish to where I work, across the street from Bridy's new daycare, walking distance to agrnmn 's upcoming place... see... lots of things in the works :) Now... if only I'd hear back about the Penn Valley job... that would really be icing on the cake (and it would let me not have to worry about paying for the daycare - and I could provide a one evening a week job to a friend!) So... here's to being happy, in love, and having things in the works!
