Tools, sharp and drilling...
Now that zylch is paying attention ;) Recently I was upgraded in employee status from center sews to side sews.. this means that I get to use the electric drill at 8am! I like the drill, the hard part is remembering to always have a hair tie with me in the morning!
The main accomplishment for this weekend, however, is the construction of the bed platform( tm.). As many of you may know Birdy and I were sleeping on a Thai sleeping mat on the floor. My acupuncturist was not happy about this and has been after me for three weeks to get it up off the floor. Not a simple task as a futon frame is too big... well, you get the picture. So enter me with $35 of lumber, a hand saw, two types of nails, a sewing tape, a ruler, and a hammer. Our bed is now 16.5 inches OFF the floor. Hah! I rock me some tools!
