It's Official, We're Potty Training...
yep, you read right, Birdy has decided not only is she ready to potty train, but she wants to. Tonight I set her down after dinner and she started squatting. Ok, I thought, we'll she what she does and so I asked her if she wanted to use the potty. She stood right up and ran off to the bathroom where she proceeded to go pee pee in the potty. We were so proud. She's done it twice before, but this is the first time I've seen it. So we got a sticky (sticker) and clapped and flushed the potty.
Normally this would be wonderful news, my baby wants out of the diapers in a constructive way. But, I have to admit, I was really hoping to get the thesis finished before we started this!
Oh well, now back to the two term papers and the take home final that all need to be finished by Thursday. (well.. one of the term papers is due in 19 hours and 27 minutes)
