Happy Birthday Birdy!
Wow... it's amazing to think that only a year ago my life was turned completely upside down and this tiny... and I do mean tiny, little girl entered my life. Looking back, it's absolutely amazing how much a child changes your perspective, hopes, dreams, and everyday thoughts. (And your sleep schedule!) Thank you Birdy, you are amazing and have enriched my life more than I will every be able to tell you. I love you big girl! Happy Birthday!
So... behind the cut is a quick montage of Birdy over the past year, if anyone needs a quick pick-me-up... cause she's really cute!
Birdy was born at 2 lbs 15 oz, 13.5 inches long. Thats really tiny...
This is Birdy a month later when she came home from the hospital. The second one is her on my mom's chest. My mom is about the same height and build as I am (though she was bigger in this pic, she's lost a lot of weight... go mom!)
Then she got older and discovered her best friend... Kitty!
Ok... so the second pic is before the kitty pic... the second one is about the time she learned to roll over... she was still in preemie clothes!
Then came sitting up on her own! And swimming in her turtle pool!
Here she is playing in the leaves... she'll sit up on her own real soon! And look! I go to Gaia's rituals too!
Look at me now! I'm such a big girl! I'm walking! (With a little bit of help!) And I even help mommy make music!
I love being a mom!
