It kinda makes me sad. I mean, all the girl did was drive on a suspended license. I did that over Easter and I'm not rotting in jail and hysterically screaming for my mother. I kinda feel like they are making an example of her BECAUSE she's famous. That's not fair. She's a person under all that fake hair and makeup.

Where the heck did this comment go, I wrote something like this before to you but it didn't get posted:
What? She violated her probation like a gazillion times. She went to jail for the probation violation, not the actual crimes that led up to it. If one of our clients had violated like that, they would have been in jail long ago!
I love how some people are saying she has bipolar disorder and therefore shouldn't have to stay in jail because it would "aggravate her condition." Right.
I just saw a press conference with the guy who intially let her out, and he was all, she has a VERY SERIOUS medical condition and that's why I sent her home.
Where do *you* go when you have a serious medical condition? Home?
Normally, I would not give a shake of a rat's ass about the popular culture people. However, there's something so compelling about this Hilton thing ... maybe it's the fact that she is so DAMNED STUPID ... all an observer can do is shake one's head in total disbelief.

I know, and I can't even decide what I'm shaking my head about more vigorously, the absurdity of her and her people, the fervor around this ridiculousness or the fact that the whole thing is pointing out how HORRIFYINGLY fucked up our legal system is.
