(no subject)
My mom and I went to the Yankees game tonight against Baltimore. I was especially excited because Joba Chamberlain was starting, and he's my favorite. I'd been looking forward to it ever since I counted through the rotation last week, and realized he was. I wore my Joba jersey and everything........
........ But he got hit in the back of the knee in the first inning and left!!!
The Yankees ended up winning 7-4... But I was still bummed, and worried about him :( Supposedly, the x-rays came back negative, and it's just a bruise, and he's day-to-day. But still...
I really hope I get to go to another one of his starts this year (where he sees more than four batters X( ) And more, I hope he comes back soon. ♥♥♥
