My project for the rest of vacation is to finish my applications so I can transfer. Most of what I still have to do is send in the supplementary documents, my transcripts and supplementary applications and clippings and that kind of thing. But it's so stressful and I just want it to be done. All I did was study for finals during the end of the semester so now I feel like I'm behind on my applications. Ugh.

I'm applying to schools in two places, New York and Toronto. In Toronto, it's Ryerson, York (hopefully they won't still be striking) and University of Toronto. In New York, it's Columbia, Fordham Lincoln Center, New School and Hunter. So wish me luck :)

I had to wait (I think) until the semester was over to send in my transcript from Nassau so it would be up to date. I got:

Sociology: A (Nassau doesn't give A+'s)
Logic and Set Theory: B+
Shakespeare's Tragedies: B
Biology: C (and I REALLY thought I was going to get a D, parts of that class kicked my ass. I HATE YOU, ATP!!!!)

But I'm doing a grade grievance for that B. I missed that professor's class once, I participated, and my grade for four out of the five class assignments was an A, the only exception being a B+. And this class was hardly about Shakespeare at all, the majority was the professor sitting and rambling about whatever he felt like, no joke. I sat through it all semester and it's bullshit that he gave me a B. I'm going to at least try to raise it.

And next semester, while I'm waiting around to find out where I'll be going in the Fall, I'm taking:

Autobiographical Writing
Science of Sound and Music
Public Speaking
History of Fashion (Hey. Hey. I get electives.)

and of course, for my last mandatory gym credit,
Circus Arts. Hope for my sake that I can learn to juggle.

toronto, stress, school, professors, schedule, wtf, grades, new york city
