So last night, my dad, his friend Peter, Corey and I went to see AC/DC at the Izod Center...
And I had SUCH an awesome time. I listened to that band so much, especially in high school, and now they're one of my all-time favorites. I really hoped they would tour again and I'm so glad I got to see them. (Even if it wasn't at the Garden :( )
They did all the BEST songs... Their new album isn't bad at all, it sounds like AC/DC, and they played a few songs from that. But when they played... Let's see, ' Thunderstruck', 'Let There Be Rock', 'Hell's Bells', everyone was so amped. OH, and 'Shook Me All Night Long', one of my favorite songs ever.
But the encore was 'Highway to Hell', and then 'For Those About to Rock', which I'd been waiting for ALL night, and there were all these shooting canon effects... So awesome.
It was just... I was SO happy. They did pretty much all of my favorite songs of theirs and it was so much fun. And honestly? I felt so SERENE. Which sounds really weird, because hello, it was rock and roll, and I was standing and dancing and singing along... But I just felt really peaceful and I felt like all my worries drifted away, lol. So cliche, but I don't care. It was great. The crowd was so pumped and everyone was standing and... Rocking out, I guess, lol.
One of the best early Channukah presents EVER.
My pics didn't come out awesome, but here are a few:

Angus, after he stripped during 'She's Got the Jack'. lolol.
