I have not forgotten about you, dear Livejournal.
It's just that the days are short and I find myself hopelessly preoccupied with all things food - the holidays, upcoming family dinners, birthdays, and the ever present evening meal.
I've been cooking and baking and trying a boat load of new recipes. My attention has been devoted to my food blog, Renderings. That does not, however, mean that I haven't been reading. Indeed I have. I just don't feel like I have enough words or energy to give to this place, too.
And I'm fighting something, and I'm worried that I'm loosing, but I will keep trying. Soup, sleep and flannels are in my present and my near future and I will gladly accept their invitation.
