Ahem. Um, hi.
There was a time when I had, um, time. Time to hang around LJ, to comment and be fannish, to make icons. Well, not any longer. RL or, in my case, music is taking up all of it. Not that I'm complaining. I knew this would be a demanding path. I just want my flist to know that I'm still here (reading but not participating) because LJ - and Photoshop - are way too distracting. And I need to stay focused.
So, I'll be quick. V and I have been rehearsing together several days a week. We have written 6 songs so far, which is quite an achievement when you take into account that we met about a month ago. We're gonna start looking for a drummer in the next few weeks. We've also found a "real" place to rehearse. (Until now, we had been playing at his place with the amps turned way low so as not to piss off the neighborhood).
I've been thinking about doing the X-mas wishlist thing but have decided against it. Mostly because I don't think anyone knows what a BOSS ME-50 Multiple Effects Pedal is. Right? Right. And a 40W VOX lamp amp is very impractical to send by mail. *cracks up*
