Now that things have improved a bit (Dear October? Fuck you, too!), I feel good enough to be back online. I didn't expect to be hit by such a severe first bout of winter depression so early on in the season. It's probably too optimistic to wish it will be the only one? *dreads*
Anyway, on to more cheerful news:
I hope I'm not reading too much into this but The Hunters' status has been changed to in production. It looks like Lifetime finally got its ass in gear and decided to go ahead with this series. *contained squee* I mean, a series with Callum in the lead sounds so very good, doesn't it? Hours and hours of screentime! Callum as a dysfunctional secret agent! EVERY WEEK!!! YAY! I wonder if they plan on airing it in January 2007, one year later than the original date...
Also? The Name Of The Game interview has been my obsession for the past few days. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is gonna be a 1-HOUR interview. With CALLUM. Where he's all GORGEOUS. AND RELAXED. AND FUNNY. AND CHARMING, LAUGHING AND SMILING WICKEDLY!!! I mean... *flails wildly*

Fortunately, October ended on a positive note. Tuesday, I went to the Muse concert downtown. I wanted to really enjoy myself and let loose for a couple of hours but it didn't happen. The show was good, the crowd was pretty wild, but the band was too... professional. I don't know. Too mechanical, maybe? There was no spark between the audience and them. I'm kinda disappointed, even though it was a good show. Weird.
Funny thing, though. As it was Halloween night, the drummer was dressed as Spiderman. Cute?
Recently, I hooked up with V, a bass player. We've been working together for a couple of weeks and we have a few songs written/in the works. Eventually, we need to find a drummer. I'll handle vocals and guitar (eeep!). I think this time the "bonding" process is going to be gradual, since it's just the two of us for now. It's probably better this way, seing as how the three previous projects I worked on didn't last, in part because of that. And power dynamics. Which is SUCH a tricky thing for bands to handle.
Anyway, that's more or less what's been happening. I may remember more later.
