"be said would come out on its own. “I hope . . . you have a good life, I really do, Granger.”"

UGH. YOU'RE MISSING MY GRUNTING NOISES. This one incited a long UUUGGGGGH cuz he's so wounded. Have a nice life . . . because I won't. Because I'm dead.

And I'm like, Hermione! You miserable bitch! Just give the dead guy a break! GAH!

"could tell when her truth was gracing. And this was it, Hermione was avoiding eye contact with Draco and she couldn’t bring herself to use any façade right now. She bit her lower lip."

Aw, I know what you mean now, when you said you started to like Hermione as you were working on this. I like her too. But B, we must continue to fight the evil! FIGHT IT!

"But he was gone."

Sad!

"Blaise was today. She was today. She was content right now. No more unhappiness."

Well, helllooooo words of DOOM. Oh jeez, this is forboding cuz I just KNOW, I just know that Blaise is NOT today. Because Draco is TODAY. Unless you're yanking us around, you crazy bitch.

I really like how Herm is coping with this, it's so logical and methodical. And I'm like, exactly, Herm. That's EXACTLY how you'd cope with it. Aw. And it makes me feel for her.

“Let’s get you back to your room,” she whispered."

Hello! Let's get you back to your room...

"pushing him down against the ground"

Mother of! WOW. Feisty.

Like I said before, I kinda like Blaise a bit, so it's a little sad for me that he really is gonna be a stepping stone for Hermione on her way towards Draco. :( Poor Pharrell.

“Lavender!” Hermione cried out, not caring what ungodly hour of the night it really was."

Ah, shit. I saw (and knew) it coming too. And I was still all, "OH SHIT! LAVENDER, YOU DORK!"

"So you’ve kissed more boys than I have. Big deal! I’m so happy for you!”

Oh, NICE. I really like how Hermione is finally saying exactly what she's thinking, because it's about damn time, you know? She's just been putting up with their shit passively, not just in this story, but throughout the books, always letting them make her feel like a loser. Well, GOOD that this happened. It's about damn time. RAWR!

“You’re ugly!"

AWESOME.

"Hermione could feel hot blood rush to her face and for some reason, all the tension and nerves she had seemed to be lacking today decided to welcome themselves back into her system all in one heavy pile. She hastily wiped the few stray, frustrated tears away from her eyes in one sloppy back-hand motion."

This was . . . really REALLY good, B.

"She angrily jerked down on her knees and violently tossed Blaise’s radiant red flower into the wastebasket."

If that's not a metaphor, then I don't know WHAT is. Bye-bye Blaise. Nice knowing ya! Aw :(

I really like how you elongated the fight. It really did your pacing some awesome good, B. :D

"Let's get you back to your room," was NOT attached with a sexual connotation, even though it SO looks like it is. GRADE SCHOOL, S.

Dude. Did you know, way back when I wanted to write this story - the main focus was on Hermione? And I was like, well I like D/Hr so I'll make it D/Hr, but I really wanted to concentrate on Hermione's character and really work on it, weaknesses and strengths and change and good and bad. And then I started to get annoyed with her for some reason (*COUGH*) and so rereading THIS chapter for me brought back what this fic's original intent was. And I can see you cringing. But yes, it was indeed HERMIONE.

:P

You're just sad to see Blaise go because random images of Pharrell won't pop pleasantly into your head while reading future chaps. But it's okay, I understand.

Blasian mystique . . . HAHAHAHAHA.

Wellllsss, I never liked Hermione. So I never approach stuff trying to explore her and give her depth. And like, the more and more I sit with it, the more I don't want to write her anymore. There are days where I'm like . . . okaaaay, I quit. D/P, or H/P or D/R, or R/P, or D/G alllll the way. And I'm so crazy, B. Like, the more and more people try to convince me that she's awesome, the more I don't like her.

SO YES. I AM CRINGING! :P

Noo, nothing can beat Caublasian! Nothing!
