Good Golly I had a Good Morning

I'm surprised at how nice my morning has been. I originally had a tour scheduled at 9am with a future Basketball player here (why they assigned me, no idea) but he cancelled, so I got to spend my morning laying around in bed reading a few chapters in my book, walking around my seemingly clean apartment (if you know where to look, you know it isn't clean), saying to myself "Too bad you don't have any breakfast to eat and make this an even better morning!" Oh no? I opened my fridge and found eggs (which I'm sure were past experation date, but they looked normal, and tasted normal), honey toast (mmm) and Earl Grey with milk...delicious. Truly. I'm very content.

Yesterday was hectic, but fun. My friend Katie is on a plane to Australia right now. She called me two night ago, telling me she had a layover in SF, for TEN HOURS! So, I picked her up at SFO, and it was perfect because the BART and MUNI were all FREE!!!!!!! Amazing! So, we went to Fruitful Grounds for some lunch (I got the Mediteranean Burrito with Falafel-love the falafel, and I think I love the rest of it too) and then I dropped them off at my apt while I gave a tour. When I came back, we gathered all their things together and headed to Pier 39, where Katie's friend (and now my friend) Heather saw the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz for the first time. We walked to Ghiradelli Square...and then they got in a cab and they headed back to the airport. However long a flight is from SF to Australia is, I hope they slept through most of it.

Now I am getting ready for another tour at 11...it will be a good day. Warm, but good.

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
you saw her bathing on the roof
her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you.
She tied to you a kitchen chair,
she broke your throne, she cut your hair,
and from your lips she drew a hallelujah.
-I know it by Jeff Buckley/Rufus Wainright, but I'm pretty sure it was written by Leonard Coen(Cohen...meh)

Gooday!
