A little about me

So, I've been keeping myself busy. To follow up, I finished the script, and am waiting to hear what the "higher ups" have to say. I have also, officially, become the most annoying person on Facebook. I need a cast for this Kick Off, and so I sent everyone in CP a message, and then the ones who didn't respond right away, and who I really wanted, I wrote on their walls, because I know you get an email sent when someone writes on your wall. So, that worked, but I'm still waiting for people to get back to me. Luckily, Laura has agreed to direct. I mean, I had ideas, but so far the cast is at 16, and it looks like it's going to be up to 20-25 people, and I don't have the effort to be a commanding, and if necessary, bitchy, person to that many people. So, I'm stage managing, which I'm basically doing anyways. I will also double as Prop Mistress, because the Orientation Team has no idea what to do when it comes to putting on a show. They were going to go to some Prop Co-op and find all the props we needed...all we need is couches, chairs, tables (which sound like set pieces, but for now they're 'props' because we don't have a budget for a 'set') and other such things that are here on campus! They were going to waste a lot of money, and still may be doing so, because they're hiring a light and sound guy! We have DEVIN! He is a Light God. And from the sounds of it, this light/sound guy doesn't have the right ideas for the venue we'll have. (the gym- ugh.) So, there is my rant.

Did some fun stuff. Have spent many an afternoon watching Star Trek. It's official, I am a fan, and am growing nicely into my geeky-ness. Also went to a Browncoats meeting. This means there is a group of people in San Francisco, who love Firefly/Serenity as much as I do, and they're pretty cool. Becky and I went, had a blast, hung out, had some lunch, put up some fliers for the Charity event put on by Browncoats everywhere, and then went home and watched Firefly. It was kind of the perfect afternoon.

The weather is starting to get SF summer-like. Not a whole lot of sun, not that warm, sometimes sprinkly. Aww, the cold wet summers of SF.

Giving another tour today. I have four set up this week. That should be pretty sweet. Good times. Anywho, now I am off. In the middle of this post, I got inspired to write! I must go where my fickle mind takes me!

Quote:
Yesterday, a child came out to wonder
Caught a dragonfly inside a jar
Fearful when the sky was full of thunder
and tearful at the falling of a star

-I can actually sort of play this on the guitar and sing. My dream is slowly, but surely, coming true.

Gooday!
