i stayed up yesterday thinking that i could go to central park and see the sunrise. i guess i forgot the part about not being able to see the sunrise while it's overcast and raining. i wondered around the park for a while... that thing is so huge and there are no "you are here" maps anywhere. i probably didn't even see 1/6 of it and i kept finding myself at the same spots. but i did find some waterfalls, i guess you can call them that if they're small. however, apparently it's not a good idea to climb on slippery rocks when you don't have traction on your shoes. i almost fell in the water and i fell/slipped a few times not in the water. luckily i didn't break my camera and nobody was around. the sucky part is that almost none of the pictures even turned out. they looked weird when i used the flash and without the flash the pictures kind of wobble instead of looking steady. also i forgot to charge my camera so the battery ran out. so i came back, charged my camera, and went to the world trade center. not sure what to say about that. i'm still not sure why building 7 had to be demolished, but it looked about finished.
had to chase around a few packs of ducks before i found some that would stay still... buddy on the right is making a break, though.
ya, this is the best picture of a bird i could get...
after this picture is when i almost fell into that water... i was standing on the rock in the pic above
my head was almost at the top of this bridge
it's hard to see, but there are 4 helicopters on the left side and 1 plane on the right
that's a dog running straight towards me... can't really make him out though
