This is Ridiculous

Okay it was a wild night last night. First of all, I would like to apologize for having to dip out of practice yesterday. I'm very glad we did though because it was the very best thing we could have done. We got home last night, after discovering 2 ticks in Dre's pants, and one in my sandal at Bobby and Amy's. Both of our dogs were checked really well last night (9 on Sara, 2 on Geoffrey). We found 5 more on the floor total from 10pm last night to 7:15am this morning. This brings the total tick count to 16, which is not too easy on the stomach... We bathed the dogs Tuesday afternoon with Seargents Skip Flea-Tick shampoo which is guaranteed to kill ticks and fleas for up to ten days, and applied their FrontLine yesterday night, which is supposed to kill ticks for 30 days ( says up to 3 months, but suggests reapplication every 30 days.) What it seems like is happening, is the ticks that we were not able to find are coming off of the dogs due to the medication and shampoo and dropping to the ground. I will be damn glad when this is all over and I don't have to worry about whats hiding in my dogs and in my house. Tonight we are going to buy the carpet stuff that kills ticks&eggs that Amy recommended to put around the dog cage since that is where many of them are dropping to. Hopefully soon...

I am glad I have one more exciting story for everyone to read about. I can guarantee that there will be more!
