(no subject)
Wow, I had no idea so many of you actually read my LJ. I got calls, texts, and comments from concerned friends. Thanks guys. It's nice to know you're all out there when I need you.
Since I last posted, certain things in my life have improved, if only slightly. It's still complicated and gives me migraines but I no longer feel like I have no control over my life. Just minimal control, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
Sooooo yeah. I haven't updated in FOREVER. I should work on that. Let's see, what have ya'll missed?
I got fired from my job at the Bistro in Norwood. I now work at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Providence, RI. It's a much higher class of restaurant and the tips are decidedly better, although I don't get nearly as many hours as I did at the Bistro. Also, I had stellar benefits at the Bistro and I have none at Ruth's Chris. With the new law that mandates health insurance for MA residents I'm kinda screwed. Anyways, Ruth's Chris is awesome, the managers are great, my co-workers are helpful and friendly, and the clientele is much more sophisticated and willing to spend more money.
I recently got my FID card, which means it's legal for me to carry and use MACE. So watch out! Just kidding...maybe :)
My life is really pretty boring, there's not really anything new and/or exciting that's happened since my last update...in like August. I'll try and be more diligent in not being an anti-social hermit.
Oh yeah, are we all doing a Secret Santa this year? Because that would be great.
