Ray was humming to himself as he walked along investigating alleys and poking his head toward the buildings, just trying to get a better idea of what was where. It was frustrating and odd to him, that things kept changing, but he wasnt giving up.

Now and then he smiled, as he thought of something from home, eyes glittering with light for a moment.

Cass watched Ray for a few moments before finally slipping down from the roof and to the ground below and cautiously approached him.

Ray jumped, then blinked. His eyes went a little unfocused.

"Hi... this will sound weird, but do I know you?"

He rubs his hair absently, having an odd feeling of having met her, or someone like her. Perhaps before he lost cohesion that last time...

"Maybe," Cass said tilting her head. She jabs a thumb toward herself. "Gotham City."

"Gotham~! You work with Batman?"

His voice is quiet and kind of hushed.

"I'm Ray, Ray Terril. I am... was, anyway, The Ray back home."

He grins at her, widely, delighted to see her.

"Vaguely in the way anyone who ever was in the JLA knows him, but we have only met twice, and never really spoken that much."

Cass blinked at Ray.

"Does he fight crime?"

Ray facepalms.

"Ah, yes. He leads a team called the Freedom Fighters. We don't... make as much of a splash as most do."

He offers her a lopsided grin.

"How are you? How long have you been here? Have you been given the two penny tour?"

He waggles his hand.

"It is an annoying place."

He grins at her.

"It's nice to see you. A face from home, especially--"

He broke off and blushed slightly.
