Going back up there was a great time, we got some demo tracks recorded, they sound good aside the shitty guitarist named Ty, he can screw up a song so well!!!, ahh whatever, it will improve.
On another side note, im going to stay in Chicago, i have a new plan, and im gonna start making calls, and emails and everything to figure out if it will work. It goes as this:
When I interviewed at UofChicago for application, me and the interviewer had a great conversation about guitar, and music. He asked me with a very confused tone "why don't you just major somewhere in music? you enjoy it very much, your guitar skills will be more applicable, i dont understand why you want to be an engineer." i responded where i said that i believed that it would take the fun out of music. he only replied with a no, it will not, trust me. damn...he was right.
FUCK ENGINEERING
my GPA is terrible, i can hardly keep myself above a 2.0, im lazy, i have no discipline to sit down and do this work. i feel like an idiot when other engineering students come by and talk a bunch of crazy shit that i feel like i should know, but dont, fuck that.
I'm gonna take just Business classes next semester at IIT, after that, i want to transfer to Columbia, sounds the most reputable in the city of chicago. after that i want to transfer there where i can hopefully double major in Music Business, and Music Production. damn near open my own recording studio, eh? Damn, that sounds pretty sexy.
I have good friends in Chicago, im gonna get an apartment there if i transfer, ill have a job to pay it off, whatever, all my best friends in chicago live in Bridgeport.
Leave some feedback for me, with advice, maybe you know a person or 2 i could talk to about this, the sooner i get started the better, alright? lets go.
