I agree as to the Chilvary you are talking about though...the world is in a different era...and though it does happen (sadly, my major seems to have alot of them) that women still go to college to find a guy to support them in life...it's annoying...and actually makes me embarrassed of my own gender. And Joe's ex-wife was like that...she'd squeeze out every penny she could from him and keep all her own money...her own...wouldn't even put it toward anything that dealt with her kids. It might not be the majority but it's still frustrating and makes me what to smack them or throw them in front of a car saying "he's not here to save you now...do something for yourself, wench."

No, no....daughters get the "you aren't dating til you are 30" or "Men just want to get into your pants" talks....although I never got that...Dad avoided the subject entirely and Mom just said to come to her if I needed birth control or anything. But even though you were tortured by your family about how to treat a woman...you really are very respectful...just slightly jaded at how you got there. Head up, Buttercup...You'll be in a different residence than their bickering and lecturing soon enough...then if they get preachy...it's just a matter of hanging up the phone ;)
